The mission of the Pompano Fire Museum is to preserve and present the history and cultural heritage of the fire service of Pompano Beach while providing safety education to the public.
Our vision is to acquire, preserve, and present artifacts, apparatus, photographs, and documents, along with other materials, which assist in the presentation of our history.
The City of Pompano's first Fire station, located at 217 NE 4th Avenue Pompano Beach, Florida. Built in 1926 to house their first Fire Engine, a 1926 American Lafrance type 75 triple combination. Which now contains Pompano's first and second working Fire Engines along with photographs and artifacts relating to the history of firefighting in Pompano Beach.
